Adult Career & Technical Education

The M.S.D. of Wayne Township offers classes for adults to further their learning. These classes provide opportunities for self-improvement and/or career readiness. Classes are located at the Career Center at Ben Davis High School and in the surrounding community.

The following options are offered to the adult community:

  • Earn a High School Credential through High School Equivalency Testing. This opportunity is for those adults who have left high school and did not earn their High School Diploma. High School Equivalency Testing.
  • Through Wayne Township’s Adult Education, adults can attend classes to prepare for the High School Equivalency Test, or obtain certain level of skills needed to enter college, apprenticeships, and trade programs view our Adult Education Program.
  • Wayne Township’s Adult Education also offers classes for persons needing to learn English as a Second Language view our Adult Education Program
  • Take high school classes in Our Extended Day School program to refresh high school academic skills. While most of these classes are for high school credit needed to earn a diploma, the adult community can attend these same classes in order to refresh previously learned high school skills.   • Choose one of our adult classes provided through the Career Center at Ben Davis. Some of these classes are sponsored by various post-secondary schools. They provide an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill for personal use or for current job advancement. Other classes provide the necessary training for a new career.
